Course Selection and Planning

Course selection at Richmond Green SS is generally completed in February for the following school year.  Students will have the opportunity to amend these selections at mid-term in second semester.  After this date, amendments can only be made through an appointment with a Guidance Counsellor, at which point there is no guarantee that there will be room in the course for which the request has been made.

Currently, all course selection information is available online.  The web site is accessed at www.yrdsb.edu.on.ca.  Please select the icon 'Secondary Course Calendar', and then ' Select School '.  A drop down menu of secondary schools will appear.  Richmond Green SS is on that list. Students can view course descriptions, add choices to a 'cart', and print their choices out.  This print-out can then be brought into the Guidance office for processing.
